Now 120 ranches strong, Country Natural Beef is holding its spring meeting in Portland, members circling up to debate ways to strengthen their commitment to the land, their hormone-and-antibiotics-free cattle, and to each other.
Fun family fair benefiting Oregon Food Bank will feature cowboy activities and food from Country Natural Beef “pardners” Burgerville, New Seasons, Whole Foods Market and others.
On Thursday night “The Country Natural Beef & Friends Country Food Fair” turned downtown Portland’s very urban Director Park into a bit of a country-fied corral complete with lasso-laden lil’ pardners, square-dancing guys and gals and more ranchers in cowboy hats than you might find at a rodeo.
