Glory Orygun! The State Fair
Have a hankering for some tasty treats and / or admiring some fine quilting? The Oregon State Fair is always the place to get your fried on (donuts stuffed with fried chicken? bring it!) If you’re thinking about attending, the day to go is Monday, August 30. Amy Roloff, star of TLC’s TV series “Little People, Big World” and the acclaimed breakdance group Defcon 5 will be appearing together in a special performance of ONE NIGHT IN FROGTOWN on “Kids Day.” Shows are at 3:30pm & 7pm on the Spirit of Oregon Stage. But every day brings something to delight, including the dozens of fun contests such as the watermelon seed spit and the corn-shucking race. Also: dinosaurs!
