Farmers markets are opening in droves starting this week throughout the Portland area, including one in the South Park Blocks.
The King Farmers Market is one of the sites for an expansion of a Portland Farmers Market program for kids. According to blogger Trace Salmon, the King Market will host the Bite Size Kids Cook – cooking classes for kids using seasonal produce.
