Tonight marks the only planned local screening of “Hood to Coast,” the immensely entertaining and surprisingly moving documentary about the great summertime relay race that engages teams of runners in a 197-miles of gutcheck as the wind from Timberline Lodge to the sands of Seaside.
The documentary Hood To Coast will be shown at more than 360 theaters nationwide on Tuesday night, including three in Portland. But the big event, with live shots from the venue and a post-movie discussion, will happen at the Kellar Auditorium.
Livability.com has named the Portland Farmers Market as one of the best in the nation. Portland ranks fifth on a list of the top 11 — editors couldn’t settle on just 10. The list is part of an ongoing series to highlight some of the nation’s best places to live.
